New data recently released by the Congressional Budget Office show that since October 1st, which marked the beginning of fiscal year 2013, the US government has borrowed nearly half of all money it has spent. But remember, the Democrats would have you believe that we don’t have a spending…
It’s simple mathematics that anyone is capable of understanding yet people vote for those who will simply ignore the facts & blame the rich instead of trying to actually balance the budget. I can honestly say liberals suck at reality.
insert-spooky-into-url said: Quitter? Obama and the lamestream media will do all they can to blame the Republicans for continued economic troubles if they try to obstruct the Demonrats. Can't prove them wrong and get most people to accept Republicans' ideas unless there's no way they can be blamed.
Rather than just voting present, which is similar to laying your gun on the ground and walking away the House could pass an extension of the existing tax levels and walk away. This would force the Dems to vote NO on extending the current rates thereby making Them Own the responsibility of raising taxes. It’s the difference of being “in the game” or just giving up. I’m a conservative and do not believe in just giving in.
The Poor Richard’s News staff was actually talking about this very idea just a couple of days ago. Instead of caving on the tax increases, Republicans have the option of simply voting “present” on legislation, just so that everybody knows who owns the legislation.
Rand Paul apparently has…
Never thought I would hear Rand Paul speak like a quitter. How sad.
If you have been voting for politicians who promise to give you goodies at someone else’s expense, then you have no right to complain when they take your money and give it to someone else, including themselves.
Thomas Sowell (1992)
Remember in someone else’s eyes You are rich. In other words … Rich is Relative.
